                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 7749
                   PINEWOOD DRIVE, MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED
                   HEREIN, FROM R-4 SPECIAL ZONE TO RT-1
                   RESIDENTIAL TOWNHOUSE ZONE, SUBJECT TO CERTAIN
                   CONDITIONS.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located at 7749 Pinewood Drive,
                being on the northeast line of Pinewood Drive
                northwest of Jenkins Road.  An unplatted tract,
                being the property described in deed book 4431,
                page 112, ROHC.  Tax Map No. 149C-A-6.
               
         from R-4 Special Zone to RT-1 Residential Townhouse Zone.       

        
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this rezoning 

         shall be subject to the following conditions:
        
        
              1.   Subject to a sight-obscuring landscaped screen along 
the
                   north, east, and west lines of the property;
        
              2.   Subject to 7.5 units per acre density; and
        
              3.   All existing easements are retained.
        
        
              	   SECTION 3.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         required by law.
